Creating Ratnapped was a journey driven by the relentless pursuit of excellence. The question is, when do you stop editing? I’m always finding little things I’d tweak if I could. The first edition taught me the importance of thorough editing—it wasn’t perfect because it needed more polishing.
The second edition went through countless revisions, and while I’m proud of the result, I still find myself wishing I’d added just one more word to a page. My goal was to capture the true voice of a child, which meant ensuring every word sounded just right.
