My twin sister called me in tears, urgently asking for prayers for a little scruffy dog she can no longer find in the Serbian village where she’s staying. She discovered that a man who used to work with the government to rescue dogs has stopped because the authorities wanted to euthanize them. I met this little dog before, and he didn’t want food—he just craved love and affection. I hope he’s safe somewhere.
In Serbia, there’s a heartbreaking practice where dogs are driven miles away and abandoned, often left on deserted roads, hit by vehicles, or even shot. My sister once rescued a dog named Miracle who had been hit by a car right in front of her. She also saved another dog who had been shot and was limping.
Anna and I are committed to rescuing one dog at a time. Right now, she has three dogs in a kennel, but they can’t stay there much longer. Although they’re being cared for, it’s not ideal. We hope to get them adopted in America.
Please support our mission by purchasing one of my totes, making a donation, or adopting one of these furry pups. We’ll cover all expenses for their care, including vet visits, spaying, neutering, and vaccinations. Your support can make a huge difference. Thank you for helping us in our rescue efforts.
